It Couldn't Be Her Character

Robin Gerber of Newsday believes that Hiliary has a problem because people are nervous about voting for a female for president.

Women were forced to choose between competence and being liked and trusted by their colleagues, but leaders must have both to succeed. Stereotyed expectations about leadership styles led to conclusions that men were being assertive in the same situation where women were viewed as abrasive.

It's not that voters and her opponents think Clinton's experienced and competent, and they don't like or trust her. It's that they think she's experienced and competent and that's why they don't like or trust her.
No. Voters had 8 years to evaluate Clinton's trustworthiness and likability on the national stage and they've had another 7 to watch her operate in New York. They don't trust her because she's not trustworthy. I'm not sure what Ms. Gerber was doing during all the Clinton "gates" but the rest of America was watching. Where was Ms. Gerber when Clinton tried to duck out of the White House with everything that wasn't nailed down. Graceful, trustworthy exit. I don't believe.

Where was Ms. Gerber during Whitewater and Travelgate? Clinton is smart, but she is corrupt, self-seeking, dishonest and she would eat her young, and yours too, for a shot at the White House.
