For Dinner, I'll Have My Foot Please

I spoke with some AmCham Shanghai officials this evening and learned that Secretary Evans flew to China specifically to give that speech at the Government Appreciation Dinner. He was invited by one of his closest friends the Ambassador and arrived in Shanghai mere hours before the dinner. I'm told that he was bouncing off the walls with excitement.
