Journalism with Chinese Characteristics
Hopefully the government will work out the kinks over the next year before it has a chance to create a public disaster on international television. When the government promised a free press, it meant "free" so long as the press toes the line. Silly reporters thought otherwise.

The incident, which occurred within sight of the headquarters of the Beijing Olympics organising committee, will arm critics who argue China has failed to meet its 2001 pledge to give international media “complete freedom to report”.
